CDL holders are the most at risk. If you have a commercial driver’s license, and even though you’re driving a private vehicle, the first time you’re charged with an OVIand convicted, there’s a one year disqualification of your CDL, which means you cannot drive a commercial vehicle for one year and that’s one year from the date of conviction.
Interviewer: I see.
Dale: If you get two, anytime in your lifetime, it’s a lifetime disqualification of your CDL. If you are a CDL holder, you have to be very careful.
